Nelda
Prince has been in insurance since 1994. She began her career with one of the
largest, national, insurance carrier in the world, Aetna, Inc. Her experience
began as a Member Recruitment Specialist (2 years) and as a Broker Sales
Representative(8 years). She has devoted much of her time educating,
strategizing, selling and training others in health and disability benefits. Her
experience allows her to be hands on and strategic.
Nelda joined King-Phillips in 2002 as a producer/agent. She currently works with all
sizes of businesses recommending and creating comprehensive employee benefit
programs. Nelda’s strong relationships in the industry enable her to negotiate
the best price for her clients. She is also bilingual and uses that special
talent in working with her clients and their employees.
Nelda Prince graduated from Schreiner College, Kerrville Texas in 1991 with a
Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and English. Nelda also received a 4 year
basketball scholarship to Schreiner and was named to the Dean’s List, Honor
Roll, Ambassador’s Club and Peer Counselor. Nelda also played soccer, ran
cross-country and was on the Cheerleading squad.
Nelda currently sits as a Chair to the Professional Services Committee of the
Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and has been a featured speaker at the
Chamber's
monthly educational seminars. She is also a member of Houston’s Association of Health
Underwriters and the National Association of Health Underwriters. She is
Licensed as/Qualified for General Lines Agent (Life, Accident, Health & HMO and
Property and Casualty).
